Message from our Pastor

Life Methodist Church is a new church. It was constituted as a Local Conference in April 2007. Before that it was a Preaching Point of KL Wesley. By the grace of God, the church grew quickly. We have good, committed leaders who love God and are deeply concern for the work of the Gospel. We recognize and are grateful for the many blessings that God has poured into our lives. We believe that God has blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others. One of the main heartbeat of the church is prayer. Since the days of its beginning, this church has been looking earnestly to the Lord for His will to be done in our midst. Our main agenda in Prayer is to know the heart of God & to fulfill His work through Intercession. For the last two years, God has given us the opportunity to organize Prayer Exposure trip to South Korea. Currently, we meet twice a week for our Prayer Meeting: Wednesday nights at 8.30 p.m. and Saturday Dawn Prayer Meeting at 6.30 a.m.

Our theme for this year is “to be rooted and built up family in Christ.” The emphasis is on Discipleship & Family. We believe God has called us to grow as a community. Our aim is to be family oriented church in which worshippers will see themselves as part of the family of God. At the same time, we also sense God’s calling to strengthen the individual family units of worshippers.

We are in the process of organizing our Cell Group, which by the grace of God be launched in 2010. We also have a bible study which meets every Friday, 8.30 p.m. Currently, we are studying the Book of John. You are most welcome to join us. Our service is at 9 a.m. There are about 85 regular worshippers. Our service is contemporary. We celebrate communion on the 1st week of every month, and every 3rd week is a Family Worship, where we will have the children joining us.”
